About Us  - The founder: Erik Terpelle - Accinterra: What makes us different? - First meeting: free advice The founder: Erik Terpelle RA Erik has worked 10 years for Ernst & Young, a major audit firm, in their international department, after which he worked for 2 international trading companies as a financial manager before starting Accinterra in 1996.  After a long study Erik graduated as “Registeraccountant (RA)” in 1995. As a certified auditor Erik is allowed to issue auditors’ opinions on financial statements of all companies in the Netherlands. This licence is comparable to that of a Chartered Accountant in the UK, a Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) in the USA, a Wirtschaftsprüfer in Germany or an Expert Comptable in France. Due to hard work, commitment and an enthusiastic mentality Erik managed to build up Accinterra to a full financial and legal service provider, what it is today. (Back to the top) Accinterra: what makes us different?  When international companies come to the Netherlands, they usually start small. The management, mostly coming from abroad, has to focus on sales, but they also have to follow local tax & company law of which they have no knowledge. It is our goal to assist these companies in an economical way. We do that by handling all accouncy, tax & legal matters, as if we were their financial manager, but at a much lower cost. We set up limited liability companies, arrange tax facilities, do the bookkeeping and payroll administration, prepare financial statements and tax returns, and assist companies with employee and other legal matters.  Since international companies always send somebody to the Netherlands to manage their company here, we have become experts in arranging work permits for international staff. For this purpose we have established contacts with other service providers that are also experienced in working for international companies.
